These terms govern your use of the OwnPage platform. A separately agreed written service proposal may add terms for a paid plan or custom project. Nothing here removes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
1. Accounts and eligibility
Use accurate information and an email address you control. You must be able to enter into a binding agreement and be authorised to act for any business you represent. Protect your login details and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Verification of an email address does not verify every statement made by a business.
2. The service
OwnPage provides tools to create and manage websites, content, enquiries and supported store features. Availability depends on the plan, configuration and services agreed. Access may be affected by maintenance, hosting, connectivity or third-party outages. Changes to paid commitments are governed by the applicable agreement and law.
3. Your content and website
You retain rights you hold in your content. You grant the permissions necessary for us and our service providers to store, display and process that content to deliver the service. You must have the rights and permissions needed for what you upload, publish or send, keep claims accurate and respect privacy, intellectual property and other applicable requirements.
4. Merchants and customer transactions
A store owner is responsible for their products, descriptions, price disclosures, stock, customer contact information, taxes, licences, fulfilment, warranties and applicable consumer obligations. Each store must publish policies appropriate to its actual business. Payment accounts and UPI details must belong to or be authorised for that merchant. Customers should verify the seller and payment destination before paying. OwnPage retains responsibility for its own services and conduct under applicable law.
5. Charges and payment services
Any platform or custom-development charge must be confirmed in a quotation, checkout or service agreement before payment. Indicative custom-development pricing is not a binding quotation. Gateway, bank, domain, hosting and other third-party fees may apply if disclosed and agreed. Gateway approvals, settlements, disputes and refunds also depend on the provider’s rules.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use OwnPage for unlawful products or services, fraud, impersonation, malware, harassment, unauthorised access or infringement. Do not send unsolicited messages or publish misleading claims, payment destinations or advertisements. See the acceptable use policy.
7. Suspension and closure
Access or content may be restricted where necessary to address security threats, unlawful activity, material breaches or valid legal requirements. Where appropriate, we will explain the issue and provide a way to contact us. You may request account closure and should export content you wish to keep. Record retention and any outstanding obligations continue where required.
8. Third parties and outcomes
Links, payment providers and optional integrations are operated by their respective providers. Website creation does not guarantee sales, rankings, advertising approval or uninterrupted operation. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law; these terms do not waive mandatory consumer remedies.
9. Questions, disputes and updates
Contact info@ownpage.in with the relevant account, website or service reference. We aim to resolve concerns through direct communication. You retain access to the remedies and forums available under applicable law. Changes to these terms will be published here and communicated where required.
